To Submit Your Story
To submit your story for inclusion as the USCS member of the month, submit an article to Steve Shay, shaymur@flash.net, and include a jpeg digital image of yourself and a written article. Articles can be sent in Word document file format or simply in e mail text. The article should include what your collecting interests are, what attracted you to the hobby and how long you have been collecting. If you prepare cachets, perhaps tell what method you use (printing, computer, hand drawn, etc.) If you exhibit covers, what have you exhibited? Have you performed services for the society (director, author, recruiter, etc.)? Include some personal information that you might share if you were to meet a collector for the first time. Think of the article as a written means to introduce yourself to other members as if meeting someone at a stamp show for the first time. Articles may be lightly edited and will be checked for content.
